In Topic: X-Files Four CD Set Confirmed By Snow - Spring 2009
Yesterday, 04:01 PM
A CD arrived in the post today! I was so happy I immediately sent an email thanking them for the replacement.
But I've just looked at the customs sticker on the front - and it's dated 8/19/10, so must be the original. Ooops. I'll have to email them again to let them know the original has actually arrived. Three weeks - and it was sent first class and by air mail. I wonder where it got stuck?
I've listened through once so far. Some lovely pieces there. -

I emailed them, and got a reply saying "It must be lost. Will resend asap."
I do really feel sorry for them, because it may well not be their fault but they are prepared to bear the cost of sending a replacement.
I just want the music. If I end up without a signed copy that will be a little loss, but the major loss would not being able to listen to Mark Snow's compositions. -

I'm slightly panicking here. I got an email confirmation that my order of the TLG/HR CD had shipped on 17th August via USPS but it hasn't arrived.
How much longer would be reasonable to wait before I get in contact with Lalaland? -

Of course we keep talking about Millennium and Frank Black, and Legion, and whatever. It was an extraordinary TV show for its time, and it's that kind of show that keeps enthralling and challenging people for a long time. It doesn't surprise any of us old-timers that people are still discovering this show and registering here to discuss their reactions.
I think in terms of what CC knew about what M&W were doing, you need to look further to justify your comments.
As far as us being Beatles fans wanting a reunion: I'm not stupid, thank you very much, and neither are MM fans. I could relate a particular personal experience of my own Beatlemania, which would resonate with MM fans as it would be not solely about the group/show but about how I experienced the phenomenon and how that related to my personal life at the time, but you won't be back here to read about it, will you? -

Earthnut, on 21 August 2010 - 03:30 PM, said:La La Land Records doesn't do hardly any promotion. I'm on their mailing list and didn't hear about it from them. If it wasn't for the MLM Forum telling me about The Lone Gunman/Harsh Realm CD, no telling how long it would have been before I found out. Thank you.
I received an email from LaLaLand about this CD on 17th August. Maybe you could check whether an email to you didn't end up getting flagged as spam, or perhaps sign up again to their mailing list?
