My girlfriend in Arizona recorded a couple episodes of MLM, knowing it's one of my favorite shows and that I am active in the forum, and she wants to see more. I am loaning her season 1 and sending it off in the mail tomorrow. She had recorded the first 3 episodes of season 2 and I told her to stop and wait until she sees the 1st season. She's looking forward to it. Yee ha yippee ! ! !

X-Files/30 Days of Night Comic Book Crossover

X-Files investigators Fox Mulder and Dana Scully will collide with a brand new threat this July, thanks to a new series announced at this weekend's C2E2 convention in Chicago.

Written by "30 Days of Night" co-creator Steve Niles and Adam Jones, guitarist for the band Tool, the six-issue series will send FBI Agents Mulder and Scully to Alaska just in time for the long season of darkness to take over the region। While investigating a strange murder, the pair discover (as usual) that all is not what it seems in the case.

"I'm a huge 'X-Files' fan, and when the crossover was presented to me, I lunged at the chance," said Niles. "It's actually a very good match, I think, because the vampires in '30 Days' have a real-world feel to them, they are not affected by crossed or garlic or any of the common folklore which lends itself nicely to the 'X-Files' universe."
Veteran artist Tom Mandrake ("The Spectre") will provide interior art for the series, which pairs DC's Wildstorm imprint with "30 Days" publishers IDW Publishing। Wildstorm has provided Splash Page readers with the first at the standard cover to the series, created by Andrea Sorrentino. Variant covers by Tom Mandrake and Sam Kieth ("The Maxx") will also be available.

Did Mulder And Scully Also Run Into Lucy?

Hi all ,
I'm a new Millennium fan and new to this board and I have a question.....
In a ep of the X-Files ( season 5 ep 9 SCHIZOGENY) Lucy plays a child therapist named Karen who is killing the childrens fathers by sucking them down in the earth, at the end of the ep Mulder screams, "Karen stop" and Karen says in a very demonic Lucy way lol, "Karen is dead" . So my question is this, is this Lucy in disguise or just Chris Carter double casting actors he likes such as the actress who played Lara Means also playing a woman who was the reincarnation of Mulders wife from the civil war?

Exactly who is the Group execution squad leader (Innocents & Exegesis), shape-shifting, Frank Black baiting (Seven And One) Multilingual (Bardo Thodol)????? He appears without any real explanation. Is he Homer B. Petty groups D.I.Y. man? How can they (Namely Carter) reconcile him with the character of Peter Watts. Owl or Rooster or just all round dirty job guy? If Carter had wanted to pull back from Morgan & Wong's near genius curve ball that was season 2 then this character seems wholly out of place. Surely the group would have had a lot of use for him in the episodes Owls & Roosters. Furthermore as sombody who has no qualms about killinghe never seems to finish the job on Frank despite having ample opportunity (Skull And Bones & Bordo Thodol).
Any takers?

Millennium - Moment vs Moment

Hi folks,
I thought it might be fun to have a series of moments versus moments and to begin with I wanted to pick two classic staircase moments from the show for you to choose from. The first is the scene in "Lamentation" which sees the nefarious Lucy Butler reveal her true self to Bob Bletcher as she descends the stairs. Up against that we have Lara Means ascending the stairs after bidding a good night to The Old Man and paving the way for his assignation in "Roosters". Two very memorable scenes I am sure you will agree both with fairly far reaching consequences for the show as both heralded the exits of two very enjoyable characters.
So it's over to you folks.

Greetings to the Group,
It seems I'm on a lucky streak...this time I've caught a wardrobe blooper in MLM #216 "Roosters":

At approximately 0:19 Frank Black enters the office of Clear Knight, and his shirt collar is above his leather jacket on the right side as he sits down. The scene cuts away to a medium-shot of Clear Knight, then quickly returns to a close-up of Frank. However, now his collar is tidily tucked away.
Yet when he stands up to shake Ms. Knight's hand and leave, his collar is again up on the right side. During the hand shake, Ms. Knight offers Frank a position with Aerotech (aka Odessa). As he declines the offer, we see another close-up of Frank, again with his collar tucked in.

After giving it some thought, I've concluded that perhaps the 2nd. Unit was tasked with the close-ups for that scene, or something of that nature. And the Continuity Director missed it. Please find 2 pertinent screenshots attached.
(I hope this is the proper forum for this post. If not, please feel free to let me know where bloopers & continuity errors are to be posted. Thx!)

I know this is not technically an exclusively X-Files related post but Gabe Rotter tends to be a name more familiar to Philes than to followers of Millennium. That said, Gabe Rotter is, and remains, Chris Carter's right hand man and as Director Of Development at Ten Thirteen, his insight is as close as you can get other than Chris Carter himself.

X-Files Four CD Set Confirmed By Snow - Spring 2009

Frank Spotnitz told in his blog that some of your X-Files works will be released in a new album. Could you say us something about that?

In this spring, La La Land records will release a 4 CD boxed set of the X-Files music from the TV shows only. It will have all the shows that I have been nominated for plus probably pieces from episode, I'm sure some of your favorites will be included.
