TIWWA forum folders suggestion - pinned threads with useful links to DVD, TV, film and music websites

Icon Leave Comment
I have a suggestion for each or some or TIWWA's forum folders, have a pinned thread where you can post useful links to websites which some or all of us use frequently or regularly - DVD and music shopping websites and TV and film news websites etc.

Topic Preview

The ability to 'preview' a topic by viewing an excerpt from the first post is another feature coming soon to TIWWA. The developers have made the idea a little more useful by also including the last time you read a topic (if applicable) and the number of unread posts so you can quickly review how much activity has taken place since you last...

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

People know that I like to visit churches and this week I was asked how it feels to encounter a new group of strangers.

They are not strangers. They are my family who have not met me. My bond with them is stronger than flesh and blood.

"While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak...

For the last three months, I have been bringing my photography projects to life. One is October Gothic. Check the site for it or the flickr account for some of my photos. Enjoy.

Wild Earth

I posted about this on the off-topic forum, but I thought I'd post it on my (somewhat neglected) blog, and to add a couple of screen caps.

21 September 2009:

I mentioned in my status that I watch wildearth.tv. It's a protected wild life area in South Africa. They do two tours a day, driving a "jigga" which is their term for a...

Latest update (and wry plug for interview for ThaDarkSideVibe podcast!)

Been a long time since I updated this blog, so take a time to enjoy (or despair in) some rare musings.

BacktoFrankBlack continues its work. I must say those with forum access to the BacktoFrankBlack, don't be deterred by the quiet nature of the forum. This isn't for the lack of activity, but too much activity to update it as we did!...

Confidence

Something tells me that this month will be better than any of the Decembers since Millennium was cancelled. Already so many wonderful things have happened as we hope for the return of Frank Black, and I can feel it getting better day by day. It feels good to wait for Christmas, and especially the new year. I'm confident. I hope, I believe, I...

"Our new Yellow House." *** Move, new people, etc

Well, after a lot of struggle, and some finagling, we are now about to start the moving process to the house I have placed a few pictures here of, and that we've talked about remodeling. They dragged this out as long as they could, and almost screwed us out of this place as well. Terry had some trouble with his heart back in September, and...

Quarantine

With Halloween around the corner and my brother in town we both took in to see Quarantine. The movie has some familiar faces as in Jennifer Carpenter that playes Dexter's sister and also played Emily Rose in The Exorcism of Emily Rose and Steve Harris that was known as Eugene Young on The Practice. This movie hsa all the elements I look for in...

Wow... I take time off to get some work done and I come back and discover I'm the featured blog... I wonder how that happened *evil grin and hides the bags of cash under her desk*

I'm not gonna have time to write something now (its 12:10 am my time) but when I get up in the morning, I'll continue where I left off, I promise. And if I...

Well, I've been expecting this...

I've been expecting that the American public was going to be led down the garden path with all the assurances being given after the Patriot Act went into use and more electronic surveillance was being done. Everyone kept hearing how the average person WASN'T the target of the surveillance and need not fear that their conversations and...

"Resolution"

And so we come to the series finale, “Resolution”. It’s certainly been a long road since we first began working on “The Begotten”, but the time has come to offer some insight and do a bit of rehashing of the last ever episode of Millennium...

(be warned - i use that word, 'so' a lot in my writing, especially in an introductory capacity. get used to it.) i'm not sure why i'm starting one now, only something about this time and place and the last 15 minutes (while i was trying to figure out how to make this one) made me want one. and...

I am not - NOT! - a soccer fan. But how do you escape the soccer world cup when it takes place right around the corner? The simple answer is: You don't. You can't!

You can't escape it - not in the media, not in stores and shops, nowhere you go. Even if I had tried to lock myself into my room, close the blinds and the windows -...

Taught an evening class tonight~3 to 5 year-olds on astronomy...I learned a lot of stuff because you have to bone up on things you're not so knowledgable in , ya know? Did you know stars twinkle because they are so far away, and when their light is traveling thorugh space, cosmic disturbances can shift and refract the light, as well as the...

The Trust: A Frank Black / Millennium Story

"A writer wants his work to affect people. You'd prefer the effects not be expressed by death threats, but beggars cannot be choosers."
